Alex "Sonny" Christoff

ALEX CHRISTOFF (SONNY) February 17, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of Alexander Christoff announces his passing on February 17th, 2021 at the Welland Hospital. Alex was 91 years old. Alex was born in Oba, Ontario where he and his family owned and operated the only general store in town. He later moved to Welland and was employed at Atlas Steels for 30 years. Predeceased by his father Peter Christoff, mother Anita (Christoff) Stoyka, brother’s Chris (Edythe), Daniel (Vicky) and sister Helen Torch (Jim). He was loved and will also be missed by Bob Torch (Laura), Debby Lafleur (Mike), Gail, Gwen, Peter Christoff (Heather), Kim, Rick (Nancy) Christoff and Jerry Stoyka (Doreen). Alex’s hobbies included music, bowling, the Toronto Maple Leafs and thoroughbred horse racing. Alex was always there for his family.
