THAI, Canh– Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Welland Hospital on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Dao for 37 years. Cherished father of Anh Thai (Chris) and Jennifer (Hien) Vo. He is survived by his granddaughters Loana and Stephanie, his brothers-in-law Thai (Phuong) Ton and Khanh (Nguen) Ton and neice Jacqueline. Canh immigrated to Canada in 1980 through the sponsorship of St. Mary’s Church, Welland. Arrangments entrusted to J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Canh may be made to the Welland & District Humane Society.
