HOOVER, Joanne (Jenny) (nee Rocca) – passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the age of 58. Joanne is reunited with her parents Pasquale (Patsy) (2003) and Rosa (2008) and her brother Nick (2006). Loving wife and soul mate of Cal Hoover of Waterdown. Cherished sister of Paul Rocca (Jo-Ann) of Welland, Tony Rocca (Marianne) of Mississauga and sister-in-law of Helena of St. Catharines. Joanne will be deeply missed by her nephews Jason (Sabrina), Jeremy, Mathew and Ryan, nieces Rose Marie and Kayla, great aunt of Nicholas and Ethan. Stepmother to Raymond (Amanda) of North Bay, Robert (Anne), Daniel (Ashley) and Benjamin (Leah) Hoover and stepgrandmother to several grandchildren. Friends will be received at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Vigil will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin on Thursday November 12, 2009 at 11 o’clock. Rite of Committal at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
