MOLNAR - Joseph Molnar passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2007 in his 84th year. He is survived by his nephew Michael Molnar Jr. of Burlington, niece Cheryl Sperber and family of Burlington, cousins Mr and Mrs Uzonyi of London, friend Rev. Leslie Marozsan and family of Welland and family in Hungary. Joseph worked at Atlas Steels for 28 years, retiring in 1988. He was born in Opaji, Hungary and came to Canada in 1948. At the family's request cremation has taken place. The Memorial Divine Liturgy will be held at St. John the Baptist Hungarian Greek Catholic Church on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. John's Church Memorial Fund may be arranged at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on line memories and condolences at www.jjpatterson.ca As a memorial tribute, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
