GILLAP, William Alexander – Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at his home at the age of 43. Sadly missed by his parents, brothers Edward (Tracy), Christopher (Brianna), Bradley (Miriam), sister Shannon (Jason) and his extended family and friends. Survived by his daughter Ashley (Rob) and beloved grandson Tyson. He was predeceased by his son Andrew, soul-mate Christine Mooney and grandmother Betty Gillap. Will was a hard-working, devoted family man who was in his 10th year at Wal-Mart where he will be deeply missed by all his Wal-Mart family and friends. Will’s family will receive friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:30 am. Interment to take place at a later date in the family plot at Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery. Donations in memory of Will may be made to Toronto Sick Kids Foundation or Welland Humane Society.
