ROBINSON, Marilyn Meta (nee Ruscoe) -

Marilyn passed away at The Village of Taunton Mills Retirement Community, Whitby on October 8, 2019 in her 87th year. Born in Regina Saskatchewan to the late Edward and Mary Ruscoe. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald (2013). Marilyn is survived by her daughter Anne (Paul Dionne) and son David (Theresia). Loving grandmother to Greg Dionne (Michelle), Heather Dionne, Justin Robinson and Nicole Robinson. Special great-grandmother (GG) to William and Clara Dionne. Marilyn is also survived by her siblings Brian (Martha), Brenda, Jean and Dennis (Janet).

A long time Whitby resident, Marilyn was a member of St. Mark’s United Church and the Mary Martha U.C.W. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 248 for over 50 years. Marilyn enjoyed volunteering at the Whitby Dr. J.O. Ruddy General Hospital and preparing weekly meals from St. Mark’s kitchen for Meals on Wheels through Community Care. The family wishes to thank the staff at Taunton Mills and St. Elizabeth nurses for their wonderful loving care.

Visitation will be held Tuesday October 15th, 2019 from 7-9pm at W. C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby. Funeral Services to be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
