God called Donato peacefully on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at the age of 98. He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Giovanna. Cherished by his dear son, Fred (Antoinette). Proud Nonno to Jennifer (Ennio Flamminio) and Amanda (Rocco Carlucci). Adoring great-grandfather to Vanessa, Gabriella, Adriano, Arianna, Alessia and Giancarlo. Donato will always be remembered by his siblings, Felice (late Antonietta), Giovanna (late Vincenzo), Raffaele (Francesca), Maria (late Francesco), Salvatore (late Rosa), Vincenza and the late Teresa. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday September 13, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Wilfrid’s Roman Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave., west of Keele St.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Donato may be made to the Lung Association.
