Glenn Ashman

ASHMAN, Glenn - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday April 20, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved friend and partner of Mary Kersel and husband of the late Sandy Ashman (1998). Glenn is lovingly missed by his children Brad (Coleen) Ashman, Scott (Melanie) Ashman and Mike (Melissa) Ashman. Always remembered by his grandchildren Sarah, Jacob, Mason and Spencer. Glenn will be forever loved and remembered by his sister Ruth Anne (Henry) Galeckas, also many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his brother Douglas Ross Ashman and his sister Joyce Eleanor Hunter. Glenn served with the Woodstock Police Dept. for over 36 years. He was a dedicated member of King Solomon’s Masonic Lodge, #43, Woodstock, Eastern Star, Khaki Lodge # 27, a 32nd Degree member of the Scottish Rite and the Woodstock Shrine Club - Mocha Temple. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday April 28th , 2017 from 6 to 8 pm and again on Saturday from 10 - 11 am, where the complete funeral service will take place in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. Interment later in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital would be appreciated. Personal Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com A Masonic memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 27, 2017 at 6:00 pm. An Eastern Star service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:30pm.
