VERO, Helen E. - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday July 4, 2017 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late George Vero (1995). Dear mother of Helen (Glenn) Millar, Ann (Terry) Sinclair and George (Marsha) Vero. Dear grandmother of Andrew (Nicola), Connie (Mike), Stephanie (Brendan), Deanne (Dan), Laura (Vince), Leslie (Ken) and great grandmother of eight. Dear sister-in-law of Julia Horvath, Ann Theroux-Vero and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; Mihaly and Ann (nee Beres) Gyurics and by her brothers; Mike, Andy and Jimmy. Helen was a devote Catholic. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and the Catholic Women’s League “C.W.L.” Helen will always be remembered for her generosity and love for her family. Her passion for the flowers in her garden and for “God’s Earth” as she would say, will never be forgotten. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday July 7, 2017 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Saturday at 11:00 am with Fr. Rick Dales officiating. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
