James A. “Doc” Stephen 1924 – 2019 On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Doc Stephen of Kenosee Lake, Sask. passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, Sask. at the age of 95 years. Doc’s memory will be forever cherished by his wife of 67 years, Marjorie (Sedger); children, Susan Chow, Reg Stephen (Veronica Osuna), Jeff Stephen and daughter-in-law Deidre Stephen (Hans Baumann). He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Jodi (Daxter) Schultz, Nicole Stephen (Ben Johnson), Dustin (Kim) Stephen, Jessica Stephen (Devin Sininger) and Mike Feagan; great grandchildren, Zander, Zennon and Graya Schultz, Ethan and Paxton Johnson; step grandchildren, Derek Chow (Natasha Wilkinson), Ciera Chow, Chris (Amanda) Davidson, Leslie Davidson (Vic Howells), Jesus Garcia Osuna (Marilu Hernandez), Vanessa Garcia Osuna and Taris Saunders; sister Norma Young and brother-in-law Bob Brown. Doc is also survived by his numerous step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, numerous friends and special canine friend Manchita. Doc was predeceased by his son Michael Stephen; daughter-in-law Karen Stephen; son-in-law Dean Chow; parents, James and Emma Stephen; siblings, Joy (Everett) Larkey, Bonnie (Don) Gerrow and Jean Brown; brother-in-law Jack Young and nephew Jim Gerrow. A celebration of Doc's life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kenosee Recreation Hall, Kenosee Lake, Sask. Dustin Hall with Hall Funeral Services, Estevan assisted the Stephen family.
