Chris John Danczak, of Prince Albert SK passed away suddenly on Thursday April 9, 2009. He was born November 7, 1970 in Prince Albert where he also received his education and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in June of 1989. After high school Chris started working at Four Seasons Cleaning and then later managed Pizza Hut restaurant. Chris also worked as a security guard at the Gateway Mall. Chris finished his life’s work managing the Real Canadian Wholesale Club. Chris grew up playing sports, baseball and hockey were his passions. At a young age, Chris started playing hockey with the Parkland Pee Wee’s and then once he attended high school, he played volleyball and it to became one of his passions. As childhood grew into adulthood, those passions carried over when Chris played hockey with his rec team the Twisters, his slow-pitch teams the Posse, the Misfits and the Madness. Chris shared a close bond with his family often attending every game Chris played. Chris was also an avid golfer and huge Raider fan attending games with his best friend Darren. Chris met the love of his life Tara in 1993. They had the longest engagement in history, finally marrying on September 4, 2004, where they built a loving family with their daughter Ashley. They remained partners, friends and lovers to this day. Chris was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He had a big heart, huge smile, infectious laugh and always put others needs ahead of his own. What brought Chris the greatest amount of joy was spending time with his family and friends and his special niece Ashley. Chris is greatly loved by everyone who knew him and will be forever in our hearts and dearly missed by all he touched. Chris is survived by his wife Tara Kennedy; step-daughter Ashley Martin; parents John and Mary Danczak; sister Connie (Stacey) Wilderman and children Danielle & Chance; brother Gene (Sandra) and children Mark, Kevin and Shane; sister Theresa (Steve) Suchorab and daughter Ashley Danczak (Travis Perry); sisters-in-law Gwen Kennedy (Terry Lawson), Gay Kennedy, Mona (Garnie) Welykholowa, Lori (Ron) Magee; brothers-in-law Guy (Jo-Ann), Curtis (Wendy), Don Salmond and Cory (Cheryl) and numerous nieces and nephews. Chris was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law Bud and Carole Kennedy; grandparents Basil and Francis Danczak and Walter and Stella Mazurkiewicz. A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at St. Mark Parish, 589-9th St. East Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Father Janusz Bizewski officiating. In Chris’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Charity of Donor’s Choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.gray’s.ca.
