Obituary for Harry Denysiuk

DENYSIUK - Harry, age 84, of Prince Albert, formerly of Henribourg, passed away at his home on September 5, 2007. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Dad’s roots were firmly planted in the ground. He was an elevator agent and grain buyer for most of his career. He farmed on the side and in retirement helped Helen operate a greenhouse. They both worked very hard and enjoyed meeting people who came to buy plants. He had a keen interest in all things connected with farming. Harvest was a special time. He was proud of his grandchildren and always interested in their sports and other activities. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Helen; son Doug (June); daughter Sheila (Margo); son Ron (Jacqui), his grandchildren; Evan, Holly and Ben. He will also be remembered by brothers; Bill (Eileen) of Kelowna, BC, Alec (Laurie) of Montrose, BC, sister in laws; Helen Denysiuk of Spruce Home; Ellen Denysiuk of Nipawin and Lynne Denysiuk of Christopher Lake; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and all of Helen’s brothers, sisters and their families. Harry was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary; sister Nettie and brother in law Nick Isayew; brothers Tony, Tom and Walter. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the Spruce Home Trail Riders Arena.
