Obituary for Judith Mary-Anne Harris

HARRIS " Judith Mary-Anne
August 10, 1955 " June 22, 2008

Judy was born in Yorkton, SK on August 10, 1955 and passed away at the Victoria Hospital on June 22, 2008. Judy moved to Cudworth, SK then to Prince Albert, SK where she attended school at PACI. She was a member of the Spruce Home Trail Riders 4H Club. She participated in 4H musical rides and rodeos and had show horses at the Prince Albert Exhibition. During her working career she worked at the PA Community Clinic, worked a couple of summers at the Spruce Home Tree Nursery and was also a full time Foster Parent and caregiver, but most of her time was spent being a great mother to everybody. She was a good listener, who tried to help in anyway she could, always gave good advice and was always worried about everybody’s well-being before her own. She was an ultimate friend, a superb mother and a fantastic grandma and she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her children Melissa (Justin) Hurl of Prince Albert, Kym Harris of Calgary, Ryan Harris of Calgary, Sheldon Charles of Prince Albert and DeeJay Brunet of Prince Albert; her brothers Larry (Wendy) Harris of Calgary and Kelly Harris of Paddockwood; two children that were like her own Vince Roberts of Prince Albert and Devon Charles of Prince Albert; her grandchildren Kelsey, Krista and Nathan Hurl of Prince Albert; her nieces and nephews Jennifer (Michael) Schere, Jeff (Leslie) Harris, Donald and Richard Harris and numerous other family and friends who were greatly loved by Judy. She was predeceased by her father James on September 26, 1999 and her mother Isobell “Merle” on November 11, 2000. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Judy Harris Memorial Fund. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Spruce Home Trail Riders Arena, with Pastor Ivan Brewer officiating. Private Family Interment will be at Lutheran Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, Drew Gray, Funeral Director.
