Obituary for Lorna Ardis Page

PAGE " Lorna Ardis (nee Archibald) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. With her family by her side, Lorna peacefully passed away July 27, 2007 at the age of 63. She is survived by her five sons and daughters in law; Jeff (Monica) grandchildren Kristen, Kyla, Colton, David, Cody, Rochelle and Shayla; Rory (Rosanne) grandchildren Nash and Chance; Ross (Mella) grandchildren Jesse and Ty; Campbell (Colleen) grandchildren Spencer and Danilyn; Jason grandchildren William and Brandon; Pam (Ken Keller) Page; Jan Gervais. Brothers and Sisters; Sandy (Jim) Blanchette, Marne (Herb) Benson, Bryon (Helen) Archibald, Bruce Archibald. Brothers and Sisters in law; Eric (Helen) Page, Lou Pawelko and Marilyn Page, as well as numerous nieces, nephews , her four legged companion Wolffie and special friends Uncle Bob Tilford, Bev Englund and Mark Rundbraaten. She was predeceased by her husband Don Page, parents Campbell and Rae Archibald, father in law Spencer Page, mother in law Katherine Paron, sister Marne Archibald. Lorna loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was very active in volunteering with the addictions council and did a lot of volunteering at the Prince Albert Penitentiary. Lorna loved fishing, animals and family, and she will be greatly missed. The family extends a huge thank you to the nurses of the intensive care unit and the palliative care unit of the Victoria Hospital for making Lorna’s last days as comfortable and happy as possible. Those wishing to place memorial contributions may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice in lieu of other tributes. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday July 31 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1112 " 3rd Street East with Pastor Wayne Blize officiating. Interment of cremated remains will be at sunset on Wednesday August 1, 2007 at the Birch Hills Cemetery. Gray’s Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, Drew Gray, Funeral Director.
