Obituary for Todd Lucier Joseph Parenteau

PARENTEAU â€" Todd, on Sunday, September 2nd, 2007, Todd passed away suddenly in Prince Albert. Todd was born April 10th, 1966 in Prince Albert, SK. He graduated high school from St. Mary’s and lived the majority of his life in Spruce Home. Todd is survived by his parents Victor and Theresa Parenteau; his two sisters Wanda (Mike) Johansen and Cheryl (Wayne) Fiddler; his niece Michelle Fiddler; nephews Tyler and Kyle Fiddler, Justin Johansen and Todd’s uncle Stanley Fidler as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and especially Uncle Roy. Todd was predeceased by his grandparents Romauld and Natalie Parenteau; Ernest and Leonie McDougall and Auntie Ezilda Fidler. Todd enjoyed playing hockey in his younger years. He also loved to go hunting and fishing with his dad, his Uncle Bouncer and his cousin Larry. As he grew older, Todd followed in his dad’s footsteps and fell in love with the sport of chariot and chuck wagon racing. He was employed at the Prince Albert Pulp and Paper Mill for sixteen years. Todd spent most of his free time with his friends at the Bear Camp or at East Trout Lake. Todd enjoyed watching his nephews play hockey or just spending time teasing and kidding around with his niece and nephews. The family would like to thank all the aunts, uncles and friends for their support during our time of sorrow. As well as the Prince Albert Chuck Wagon Association for the “Todd Parenteau” memorial weekend. Public Visitation will be held from 7:30 p.m. â€" 9:00 p.m., Wednesday September 5, 2007 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 28th St W. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2007, with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2007, with the Celebrant being Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Both services will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 260 25th St E. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.gray’s.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director.
