October 19, 1938 - May 20, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of our dear Wife, Mother, and Grandmother: Naioma Marlene Letondre who passed away on May 20th, 2013 at Shellbrook Hospital in Shellbrook, SK. Naioma was born October 19th, 1938 in Canwood, SK, the 3rd eldest child of Ivar and Mary Fonos. She married Frank Letondre on August 27th, 1959 and from that union they had three children: Allen (Heather) Letondre of Prince George, Peggy (Allan) Schadlich of Prince George and Garry Letondre of Leask. Naioma will be remembered by her loving grandchildren: Chad Letondre, Lisa Gunton, Evan Gunton and Kurtis Cole Letondre; as well as her great-grandchildren: Madeline Marie Dennis, Hennacey Belanger Cole, and Naiomi Belanger Cole; as well as her sister and brothers: Otto Fonos of Glenbush, SK, Johnny (Marcela) Fonos of Big River, SK, Arnie (Jean) Fonos of Big River, SK, Karen (Bob) Henderson of Candle Lake, SK and Paul (Ellen) Fonos of Big River, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents: Ivar Fonos July 4th, 1982 and Mary Fonos July 31st, 2004. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Big River Community Center, 606 1st St North, Big River, SK with Albert Hannigan as officiant.
