Henry Edward Duesener

Henry was born on his parent’s homestead near Lake Lenore. He spent many years working as a carpenter for the Humboldt school division, Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and Lang Brother’s Construction. With his brother John, they had their own company in Melfort in the 60’s and 70’s. For a change Henry worked in Kitmat, British Columbia in the Aluminin Smelters for a while. In 1972 he married his wife Linda of 48 years. In 1975, they bought their farm east of McKague where he grain farmed and raised cattle and hogs. He resided there until his passing. He is predeceased by his parents Heinrich and Theofrieda, sister Annie Taphorn, brothers-in-law Paul Taphorn, Peter Anduchow, Hans Knoop, niece Ursala Knoop and nephew Stephen Duesener. He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda, son Chad (Stacey), daughters Cindy (Mike) and Brenda (Tony), grandchildren Tristyn, Cole, Ethan, Aiden, Nichelle and Logan; brothers John (Shirley), Frank (Nancy), sisters Rose Anduchow and Kathy Knoop; as well as many extended family and friends. Donations may be made to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation 345 Ave S #1, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7K 1M6 as a token of remembrance
