Morris Shewchuk
With his loving partner of 36 years, Millie Chambers at his side, Morris Walter Shewchuk passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on July 14, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Morris was born in Wakaw on March 26, 1934 to John and Helen Shewchuk. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his partner Millie Chambers; his children: Sonya (Peter) Shewchuk-vonKaufman, Debbie (Mike) Shewchuk-Jones, Sherry (Lindsay) Krieser and Wayne (Teresa) Houle; his grandchildren: Austin, Kyle, Adam (Kat) and family and Andrew (Shannon) and family; his sister Elsie Marshall, his brother-in-law Ed Klopoushak, his sister-in-law Adele Shewchuk as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Morris was predeceased by his parents, his sister Eileen Klopoushak and his brother Orest Shewchuk. In keeping with Morris’s wishes, he will return to his hometown of Wakaw where a Grave Side service will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael Lomaszkiewich officiating. Donations in memory or Morris may be directed to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to W. G.
