Obituary

CLINE, Francis Aubrey

It is with great sadness that the family of Franc Cline announces his passing on Monday, November 4th, 2019. Franc will be forever remembered by his wife Cathie, children Brady (Dez) and Dylan (Nicolle), grandson Samuel, brothers Norman (Jeannine) and Roy (Susan), ex-wife Laurie, and step-children Dawn (Dan), grandchildren Shemiah and Randy, and Scot (Trina) grandchildren Brendan and Karlen. Franc will also be remembered by his many cousins, aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, and his many friends both near and far.

Franc touched many lives in his time with us, and will be fondly remembered as a man of great conversation, wonderful stories, and helpful advice. He loved a good laugh almost as much as he loved woodworking and fixing or building things with his hands. He was a near-endless source of information on many topics, drawing in part from the many jobs and hobbies he had throughout his life.

He had fought forest fires, worked underground in the mines, installed furnaces, farmed, painted houses, rode motorcycle, built houses, and many other activities. Through all of this, he developed and nurtured a love of woodworking and storytelling. He was an avid member of Toastmasters, and he loved CBC Radio - which he called the "University on the air". He also had a special fondness for music, which he shared with many of his friends and family.

He was predeceased by his mother Audrey, father Albert, and daughter Natashia.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Parkland Hall, 413 2nd Ave., Allan, SK on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at ten minutes to 2 p.m. A Private Family Interment in Zelma Cemetery will take place at a later date. For online condolences, tributes, or to make a donation in lieu of flowers in Franc's memory to Zelma United Church Heritage Site please visit http://www.fotheringham-mcdougall.com
