Frank Fedor Watrous, Saskatchewan Obituary

Frank Fedor

Frank Fedor July 30, 1932 to November 17, 2016 Frank Fedor, my love, my partner, my rock, my strength and my weakness, my best friend and husband, loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather, passed peacefully in his sleep after years of declining health and a brief stay at the Manitou Lodge in Watrous, SK. Although Frank would not have said so himself, the lives of those he touched are better off for having known him. And in the words of Nat King Cole, "Unforgettable....that's what you are...” Frank is survived by his wife of 42 years Janet; his children Judy (Rod), Kerry (Damita), Leslie (Jim) and Kim (Zubin); his grandchildren Riley (Leah), Lauren (Corey), Mary, Frank (Elisabeth), Charles, Alexandra, Tyler, Tanner, Lukas (Kacie), Kurtis (Robyn), Theodore, and Astrid; his great-grandchildren Blake, Chase, and Loki; his brother Joseph, his sisters Patty and Terry (Ed) and his brothers-in-law Barry (Carol) and Bob (Lou) and his sister-in-law Norma; and all those who love him. He was born in Calgary in 1932 and lived there most of his life. He graduated from Oklahoma University in 1954 as a Geological Engineer. His work as a geologist with independent oil companies spanned many locations including Alberta, Saskatchewan and Texas. Some of his favorite activities included skiing, golfing and playing the drums. He famously golfed 50 holes on his 50th birthday. In 2009 Frank and Janet retired to Manitou Beach, SK. There will be a private gathering in Calgary. At his request, there will be no service.
