BENKO: Kalmon Vernon June 28, 1924 – January 20, 2019 The death of Kal Benko, aged 94 years, occurred peacefully at Manitou Lodge in the Watrous District Health Complex on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Kal is survived by his wife Yvonne (Tanguay), his son Bernard (Linda) Benko of Saskatoon, SK; his son Gabriel Benko of Prince Albert SK; his son Vernon Benko of Manitou Beach, SK; four grandchildren Misty (Mario) Resendes; Harley (Mathew) Benko; and Austin and Cole Benko; as well as five great grandchildren, Christopher, Michael and Matthew; and Labraune & Carter, with another on the way. The MASS OF THE CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Watrous, Saskatchewan on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Richard Meidl, OSB officiating.
