William Chypiska

William Chypiska, formerly of Dilke, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2019 at Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility in Imperial, Saskatchewan, at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by his parents, William and Annie Chypiska, brother, Philip Chypiska, sister-in-law Marion Chypiska and brother-in-law Herbert Hein. Willy leaves to mourn his sister, Alice Hein, brother, Fred Chypiska (Marie) and numerous nieces and nephews. Willy farmed in the Dilke area until he retired, when he actively pursued his hobbies of ice fishing in the winter and golf in the summer. During the golfing season, you could often see Willy proudly mowing the fairways of Dilke Golf Course, when he wasn’t playing a round himself. A man of few words, Willy will surely be missed by his friends and family alike. A special thank you to his family of caregivers at Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility for their TLC Wily received during his time there.There will be no funeral service at this time, but a private interment service will be held at a later date.
