Douglas Clark

Douglas W. Clark, age 81, Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of Wrentham, MA and moved to Erwin in 2005. Mr. Clark was a son of the late Fredrick and Dolly McCormick Clark. Mr. Clark was a United States Marine Veteran having served during the Korean War. He retired from ministry where he served as a missionary. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Lynn Scales. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Isabelle "Iziss" Loomis Clark and one sister, Leafy Bell Costan of Merrimack, NH. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 1:45 P. M. in the Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Military honors will be rendered by the Kingsport VFW 4933 Boone Dam. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:30 P. M. on Tuesday.
