Hobert Lloyd Wear

Hobert Lloyd Wear, age 87, of Blountsville passed away peacefully at his home in Blountsville on Sunday, October 4th, 2015. Survivors include his wife Gloria Russell Wear; his daughter Mary Katherine (David) Kimbrough; his grand daughter Terra Kimbrough. He is preceded in death by his parents Hobert E. and Elesa Wear; brothers Thomas Eldon Wear, Robert L. Wear, Willie Joe (Bill) Wear; 1 infant brother and twin infant sisters. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following at 12:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens 1591 Gadsden Hwy Birmingham, AL 35235. Mr. Wear was retired from Tarrant Fire Department as Fire Chief. Mr. Wear was a Past Master of Dolcito Masonic Lodge #596, Past Patron Inglenook Chapter OES, Member of the Heart of Dixie Camping Club. He enjoyed camping and any travel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cleveland Church of Christ in Cleveland, Alabama. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
