James O. Hallmark, Jr. age 68, of Locust Fork, passed away Thursday, May 4th, 2017 at St. Vincent's East Hospital. Mr. Hallmark enjoyed riding his Harley and sitting by the fire. He adored his family. Mr. Hallmark was a retired Recon Specialist from the United States Army, a sharpshooter for both the M-14 and the M-16. He is the recipient of the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Survivors include wife Rhonda Hallmark; sons Nathan Hallmark, Jonathan Hallmark, Tony Hallmark; daughter Misty (Drew) Moore; sisters Donna (Vann) Mulvehill, Stacy (Jeff) Pike; grandchildren Harley and Courtney Moore. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Louise Hallmark Sr.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 8th, 2017 at 11:00 am in Edgewood Cemetery, County Hwy 13 Locust Fork, AL 35097, with Military Honors.
