Jimmie Faye Murphree

Jimmie Faye (Hollingsworth) Murphree age 81 , of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, November 25th, 2015.

Survivors include her daughter Kathy (Jack) Sullivan, son-in-law Allen Turner, sisters Bonnie York and Carolyn (David) Simmons, grandchildren Dana Turner, Magon and Chad Lawrence, great grandchildren Octavia, Olivia, and Colby Turner, Dylan and Rylan Lawrence and a host of nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband Dennis W. Murphree, father and mother James H. and Esther (Gilliland) Hollingsworth, daughter Judy Turner, sister Bobbie Dunn, and grandchildren Christy Turner and Heather Sullivan.

The family will receive friends at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Saturday, November 28th, 2015 from 10:00 am till 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at 12:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, with burial to follow at Green's Chapel.


Mrs. Murphree enjoyed camping, playing cards, and word puzzles. She also enjoyed "Braves" baseball and watching football. She co-owned the business Paper Maids with her sister.
