Mark Carter age 62, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at his residence. Survivors include sons Josh and Jake Carter; brother Michael Carter (Wanda); nephew Brandon Carter and niece Teri Carter. He is preceded In death by his parents Huland and Valera Carter and sister Janice Carter. The family will receive friends at Locust Fork Baptist Church 30580 AL-79 Locust Fork, Alabama 35097 on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Locust Fork Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Remlap Cemetery. Mr. Carter coached Football and Basketball at Hayden, he was the first elementary school principal at Locust Fork Elementary School, he also taught at Wallace State. Mr. Carter loved history, traveling, hunting, he loved his dogs; and he had a special love of family, Mr. Carter was well loved and respected by his community. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
