Martha Jenet Fox Champion age 80, of Altoona passed away Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at her residence. Survivors include daughter Linda Schramm, of Ft. Myers, Fl., son Donald Ray Champion (Rhonda), of Homestead, Fl., brother Jimmy Fox, of Oneonta, Al, 6 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents Albert and Elizabeth Moore Fox, husband Jessie Ray Champion, brothers Billy Harold, L.C., W.C., Wally, and Leonard Fox, sisters Lois Benefield, Geneiva Huie, Helen Hanson, Bernice Hathcock, and Jewelene Barfield. The family will receive friends Monday, September 25th, 2017 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 25th, 2017 at 11:00 am in The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Oneonta, AL. Mrs. Champion was a CNA (nursing assistant) for many years and loved her family dearly. She also loved her puzzle books. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
