Mrs. Melba (Calloway) Warnix, age 76, of Locust Fork passed away Sunday, September 10th, 2017 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Mrs. Warnix was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge #367. She was involved with the women's ministry at church and enjoyed growing flowers and gardening. Mrs Warnix was a great mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent a lot of time watching her hummingbirds and loved to can foods from her garden.
Survivors include husband Bobby "Fuzz" Warnix; sons Roy Warnix (Tim Nicholas), Richard Warnix (Amanda); brothers Vernon Calloway, Eddie Calloway; sister Jeanette Bramlett; grandchildren Brandi Turner, Amanda Turner, Dillon Warnix, Kayla Warnix; 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Willie Bell Calloway; son Robert Warnix; daughters Brenda Lee Warnix and Ruby Warnix Turner.
The family will receive friends at Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, September 14th, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following at 1:00 pm in Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church , with burial in Bethel Cemetery in Warrior, Alabama.
