Mildred Virginia (Brown) Hayes, age 85, of Cleveland passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and puzzles. She was an avid fan of fishing and reading. Mrs. Hayes loved Nascar racing; especially Jimmie Johnson. Left to cherish special memories are daughter Reba Kirkley (Stan); grandchildren Elijah Kirkley (Alana), Daniel Kirkley (Sarah), Hannah Smith (Kyle), Isaiah Kirkley; great grandchild Eloise Kirkley; sister Madge Brown White. She is preceded in death by her parents James Eli and Naomi Brown; husband Allen Lynn Hayes; brothers Clovis Adams (Bertha), Hubert Adams (Rosie), Herbert Brown (Colleen), Hobert Brown (Onzell), Harold Brown (Mildred); sister Minnie Adams Denson (Benton); brother-in-law Theo White. The family will receive friends at the Locust Fork Baptist Church on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 10th, 2019 at 2:30 pm in Locust Fork Baptist Church. Burial at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Arley, Alabama on Monday, November 11, 2019. Arrangements entrusted to the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home.
