Paul Crane

Paul Dean Crane, age 83, of Hayden passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Crane was a pharmacist at Gilmore Drug Company in Ensley for a number of years. He was a member of the Alabama Pharmaceutical Association, and a dedicated member of the Gethesemane Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Left to cherish precious memories are his wife of 58 years Carolyn Crawford Crane; son Richard Dean Crane, wife Mary; daughter Paula Dehart, husband Michael; sister Billie Johnson, husband Bill; grandchildren Rebecca Brandt, husband Dan, Richard Joseph Crane, Lydia Dehart, Daniel Dehart; great grandchildren Colten Konetzske, Ian Thomas Brandt; brother-in-law David Crawford, wife Linda; a host of precious nieces and nephews, a wonderful church family and lots of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John Irving and Era Crane Sr., his brothers George, J.I., and Leyland Crane. The family will receive friends at the Gethsemane Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Gethsemane Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home.
