Dennis Wayne Parker, Sr. affectionately known as “Den Den” was born in Gadsden, Alabama on June 13, 1959 to Elveta Parker and Leroy White being the third of ten children. Dennis passed away on November 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, sister and grand-parents. He received his formal education from H.M. Turner High School in Atlanta, Ga. Dennis was a dedicated and hard worker. He worked for Frye Corporation in the printing department and Graphic Communications Local 527 where he did janitorial services for 25 plus years. “Mr. Fix it, Taxi Cab driver and locksmith” were all gracious title’s that Dennis was given by family and friends because of his humble spirit and heart of gold. Dennis leaves to cherish his precious memories his two sons, Dennis Parker, Jr., Sarvaus Alexander of Atlanta, Ga, mother Elveta Parker sisters, Anita (Paul)Stevens, Stephanie Parker(Willie Elston) of Gadsden, AL brothers, Alvin Parker, Victor Avery, Willie (Dorothy)Avery, Timothy Parker of Gadsden, Al, Gerald Parker(Jeanne Baker) of Atlanta, Ga, grandmother Lela Griffin of Gadsden, AL, grandson Dennis Parker III, aunts, Louvenia Martin, Anna Parker, Chainster Watson of Gadsden, AL, Loretta(Willie)Rawls of Atlanta, Ga uncles, Curtis Isom, Ben(Brenda)Marshal of Gadsden , AL., (Beloved Uncle) Willie James Parker of Atlanta, GA. Dennis leaves a few special friends, Tangelon Alexander, Scottie, Roderick Ross & Sherica(Rica)Davis and daughters Dennis leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other dear friends.
