On April 5, 2020, Betty Pauline Thigpen of Greensboro went to her eternal home at the age of 87. She was born on March 18, 1933 in Rockford, AL to Cleveland Heflin Rogers and Stela Miller Rogers. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin Warren Thigpen and her brother Jimmy Frank Rogers. She is survived by her son Gary Alvin Bice (Debi); her daughters Betty Lynne Kirk (Lawrence) and Debbie Goldmew (Lynn). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral service was held on April 8, 2020 at the Oakwood Martin Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren and Jerry Sexton and Dan Wilson. In lieu of folwers, donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama, New Haven Baptist Church or Greensboro Baptist Church.
