David Clarence Ryan, 75, went to his eternal home on June 10, 2020. He was born on November 8, 1944, in Birmingham, AL to Ludie Clarence Ryan and Elizabeth Marie Price. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother John William Ryan, Sr., his grandmother Mrs. Willie Mae Walker, grandparents Mr. and Mrs Ludie Washington Ryan (Fossie Crawford), his mother and father-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bill Horn (Hortense Browder) and his great-niece Ella Boswell Smith. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jan Horn Ryan; his sister Linda Ryan Kirk (Sherrill Neeland); nieces Elizabeth Kirk Luker and Angie Horn Stalnaker; nephews John William Ryan, Jr., James Mitchell Ryan, Joshua Dean Ryan, and Browder Horn; great-nephews Neeland Ryan Luker, David Perry Luker, Gage Horn and Jax Bentley Stalnaker; great-nieces Haley Horn and Brittany Horn; aunt Mrs. Glenn Payne (Minnie Opal Ryan); and his brother-in-law Jim Horn (Donna). Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Oak Wood Cemetery in Greensboro, AL with Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel, directing.
