Dora Dell Hales Crawford, 93, of Huntsville, AL went to her eternal home on September 22, 2020. She was born on June 23, 1927 in Woodville, Texas to Wiley Whitfield and Ida Dell Tucker Hales. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Walter Crawford; and her brothers: Hugh Lee Hales and Lloyd Hales. She is survived by her sons: James Ronald (Dottie) Crawford of Huntsville, AL; Kenneth Whitfield Crawford of Gulf Shores, AL and Timothy Dale (Angela) Crawford of Beverly, KY; her sisters: Mabel McCormick of Dana Pointe, CA, Gertrude Hales of Richardson, TX, and Fay Hales Robinson of Magnolia, TX; and her sister-in-law: Betty Hales of Woodville, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Holly Ellis and children, Park and Lucy, of Huntsville; Madeline (Robert) Mullins and children, Anna Crawford and Mem, of Huntsville; Matt (Angie) Crawford and children, Katie and Matthew of Frisco, TX; Abigail (Mike) Dobie and daughter Eleanor of Wilmore, KY; Hannah (Clay) Clark and daughter Millie Barnett of Nicholasville, KY as well as many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Greensboro Cemetery in Greensboro with Reverend Doug Jolly officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing.
