Patricia "Pat" Whitfield Kynard Hill, age 78, beloved mother and sister, passed away Saturday June 22, 2019, surrounded by her family. Pat was one of twelve siblings born to Rufus M and Louise Ryan Whitfield in Hale County. Pat attended Greensboro public Schools, Married Dolan Kynard in 1956, and worked for Greensboro Apparel for a number of years. Pat was a longtime member of Lake Payne Church of God where she served as a Sunday teacher. Pat was a selfless woman of Faith possessing a true servants heart devoted to the Lord and her family. Pat enjoyed gardening and it is believed she could grow any plant or flower. A lover of of Gospel music, Pat especially enjoyed Bill Gaither music. Pat was preceded in death by her parents: her first husband, Dolon Kynard: her second husband, Garvis Hill: her daughter, Donna Jo Kynard Murphy: her grandson, Timothy Ray Jackson: her brothers, Charles Whitfield (Dorothy), John Whitfield (Faye), and Don Whitfield; her sisters, Mary Payne, Jean Westbrooks, and Norma Martin. Left to Cherish her memories are her daughters, Debbie Carrier (Ed) and Dawn Parr (Donald); her grandchildren, Joni Simmons, Tabitha Jackson (Rodney Tucker), Lee Carrier (Christina), Lane Carrier, Sydney Parr, and Dolan Parr; great grandchildren, Kayla Mizell, Andrew jackson, Samantha Coley, and Leah Jackson; great great grandchildren, Candon Booth, Ensley Glass, and Charlie Mizell; brothers, Wayne Whitfield and Danny Whitfield; sisters, Margie Holladay, Becky Jockish, and Sue Whaley (Fred); plus many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday June 24, 2019, from Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 25, 2019, at 11 a.m. from Lake Payne Church of God with Linda Baughtman and Rev Travis Connell officiating. Active Pallbearers will be nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Southland Nursing Home, Dr. William Shane Lee, and Comfort Care Hospice for their care and Kindness given to Pat. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lake Payne Church of God or Alzheimer's of Central Alabama.
