Barbara Joyce Ferraro, 81, went to her eternal home on May 28, 2020. She was born on November 1, 1938 in Heiberger, AL to Carl and Bessie Mae Hartley Colburn. She worked as an assistant librarian at Marion Military Institute. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don Ferraro. She is survived by her sons Donald Joseph Ferraro and Carl Ferraro; her daughters Janet Ferraro, Lynn Gordon, Debra Ferraro and Carol Campo; and her sisters Bettye Colburn, Bessie Joe Colburn and Irma Jean Colburn. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 2 pm at the St. Wilfrids Episcopal Church Cemetery in Marion, Al with Rev. Dan Thornton officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing.
