Robert Lee Dunkin 83, of Marion, passed away Friday September 20, 2019, at home. A graveside service will be held Monday September 23, 2019, at 11:30 a.m from Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rick Elrod. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel. He was born July 16, 1936, in Perry County, to Arthur Lee and Vida Lee Ham Dunkin. Robert was preceded by his parents; grandchild, Stephen Wayne Shirley. Surviving Robert is his wife, Carol Nichols Dunkin; sons, Robert Leon Dunkin (Sommer) and Roger Lee Dunkin (Tricia) both of Marion; sister, Doris Dunkin Persons (Charles); grandchildren, Hunter Layne Dunkin, Brittney Bramlett (Anthony), Dylan Green (Lacey), Kally Blackmon (Daniel), and Taylor Green. Pallbearers will be Steven Moseley, Ben Moseley, Mike Mills, Mike Simpkins, Allen Rayfield, and Jacob Hughey. Honorary pallbearers will be Lucius Rayfield and employees of Homestead Hospice.
