Jimmy W. "Jim" Powell, Jr. age 48 a welder of Vance, AL died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at his home. He was born December 10, 1964 in Mobile, AL. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

He is survived by his father, Jimmy W. Powell of Thomasville, AL; mother Joe Ann Zellers of Evergreen, AL; sister, Wendy Powell of Evergreen, AL; nephew, Cody Vivona of Evergreen, AL.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with Rev. Henry Deason officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Family Cemetery in Mobile, AL on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
