It is with Great Sadness and Joy to Lay to Rest Our Sweet Mama. Jo Jo as many called Her went to Jesus…PEACEFULLY On Sunday July 9. She leaves behind a long Legacy of Love and Tenacious Drive!! She has finally Joined the Love of her life and Husband of 51 yrs.…. Leonard Piazza. Our Parent’s both born in Sicily…came to Cleveland, Ohio 1950’s ….and met at the Italian Club …. They Married in 1960….and had 3 Children…. Nina Hartnett (John)… Peter Piazza and Reeta Piazza...! Our family moved to Phoenix in 1978. Jo was one of 7 children born on July 3, 1939 to Vincenzo and Giuseppa Ianni and a Grandmother to Jackie Ackerman (James), Bobbee Kornhoff (Kirk) and Lauren Scott (Brian) …. Great Grandmother to Kalista Kornhoff and Samuel & Emery Ackerman. Our Mother was a quiet and hardworking soul…. she loved to cook, clean, dance and take care of her family. In 1997 she was paralyzed in a terrible car accident…. but she still took care of herself and family without complaint. Though She suffered…She always had a smile on her face and words of love and encouragement…. We will miss Her Immensely but are glad they she will be dancing with are Dad once again and making PASTA FOR ALL OF HEAVEN….! Till We Meet Again … Arrivederci Mommy!
