Esther Marie Hobson, 97, passed away on August 03, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on February 28, 1919 in Royal, Washington to John and Anna Weel, who were Norwegian Pioneers. Esther was a meat wrapper for 22 years in Bremerton, WA. and also Volunteered at the hospital in Bremerton. In 1952 was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was always happy and loved to travel, enjoying her life. Esther retired in 1982 a nd moved to Lake Havasu City with her husband, John, in 1983. John passed away in 2005. In 2006 she then started Volunteering at Hospice of Havasu, organizing shopping bags 2 days a week and she really enjoyed the staff at Hospice. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Esther is survived by her niece, Loretta; grandchildren, Darrick, Dennis and Renee; great granddaughter, Rachelle and a great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and her parents. No services are planned and Cremation took place.
