Albert Mitchell

Albert W. Mitchell, age 94, passed away on May 3, 2016 in Peoria, Arizona. Born in Boston Massachusetts in 1921. Loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survived by his children, Susan Gard (Paul), Dana Mitchell (Karen), Pamela Mitchell (Bradley) and Traci Loges (Gregory); grandchildren Christopher Gard (Sarah), Lauren Loges, Tyler Mitchell, Cassie Mitchell and great grandchildren Ella Gard and Evie Gard. Pre-deceased by his father William Mitchell, mother Mary Mitchell, brother George Mitchell, sister Mary Mitchell West and spouse Barbara Mitchell. He cherished his family and time with them. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed tennis, hiking, swimming and being outdoors. He worked over sixty years as a stockbroker and partner for Kimball & Cross in Boston. Dearly loved by many friends and relatives. He will be remembered for his love of life and kindness to all. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas More Church, 6180 W. Utopia Rd., Glendale, AZ 85308 on Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 AM. All are welcome to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
