Angela Eckman Obituary

Angela Moore, or what most know her as, Angie Eckman, left us the morning on March 15, 2015 peacefully in her sleep at her home in Glendale. She was born November 9, 1954 in Madisonville, Kentucky, a daughter of Paul and Reba Phillips Moore. She spent her early years and was educated in Kentucky and had lived in Jolliet, Illinois and has lived in Arizona since 1974. She was a pastry chef and baker and was very talented at her craft as a wedding cake decorator. Angie was a wonderful, kind-hearted soul who would put anyone before herself. She enjoyed her family, going gambling and cooking home cooked meals for the entire family. She was very optimistic and could put a smile on anybody’s face. She is survived by her mother Reba; lifetime partner Ken Griffith; daughter Melanie Carper and partner Scott Stephenson; son Matthew Eckman; stepson Matthew Griffith; 5 grandchildren: Victor, Mariah, Destiny, Brandon, Nikolas; 3 sisters: Grace, Vanessa and her twin Valarie, a brother: Steve Ford; lifelong friend Tom Carper and many friends and family. Memorial services will be Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Blvd in Sun City with Pastor Mike Shepherd officiating.
