Anna Rose Harris Barrett McKernan, 12/17/1929 – 9/12/2016 Born in Mesa, Arizona to Roy E. and Martha V. DeLand Harris, the 7th of 9 children and died in Peoria, Arizona. She was the widow of Leonard R. Barrett and the wife of Bernard D. McKernan. She was the mother of Martha A. (David) Earl, L. Jean (Dave) Moore, H. Val (Pam) Barrett, Tina L. (Lee) Frische, Leonard R. (Davina) Barrett, Jr and Don B. (Wenda) Barrett; 31 grandchildren and 77 great grandchildren. Her brothers: Roy (Naomi), Joe (Jade), Tom (Beverly), Russ (Irma) and Bob (Carol) Harris; sisters, Gladys (Bert) Bray, Ruby (Ken) Bell and Pat (Richard) Barrett; brothers-in-law; John (Imagene) Barrett, Jr, Kenneth Barrett, Richard (Pat) Barrett, Bill (Sandy) Barrett; sisters-in-laws Barbara (Ken Brown and Bob) Wilsey, and Sharon (Bob) Cooper; five stepchildren, their spouses and children. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and served the Lord faithfully all her life. Services, Monday, September 19th, at the LDS Peoria Arizona North Stake building, 83rd Ave. and Deer Valley Rd, Peoria, Az, viewing from 12 to 12:45 PM and services at 1 PM, burial in the Mesa City Cemetery.
