Billy Frank Wilburn, born December 2, 1932 in Galena Park, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, in Surprise, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Wilburn of Houston, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bobby Wilburn of Surprise, Arizona; daughter Beverly Wicker of Reston, Virginia and son-in-law, William Wicker Jr of Reston, Virginia; his sister Bobby Jean Baldridge of Selma, Texas; sister Donna Mowrey of Lago Vista, Texas; and brother-in-law Carl Ben Orn of Houston, Texas. Billy Frank leaves behind many other friends and family members. Billy Frank received an honorable discharge from the Army after serving at Fort Bliss, Texas, from 1952 to 1954. He was an instructor in the 3rd Guided Missile Battalion. Billy Frank had a successful 39 year career in Human Resources with Ethyl Corporation/Tredegar Industries, retiring in 1991 as the Director of Labor Relations. In addition to his family and career, Billy Frank pursued many interests and hobbies including golf, music, aviation, photography, motorcycles, and RV'ing. The world has lost a true southern gentleman.
