Conlon O'Connor

Connie O'Connor born February 21, 1923 in Lennox, South Dakota passed away on January 15, 2014 surrounded by his family. Connie had close to 91 years to celebrate his life and the many things he did. He was a man of many talents and loved telling stories to everyone he met. He formerly owned and operated a newspaper in Iowa, he played professional basketball and baseball, moved to Phoenix in 1958 to see new homes and later became a home builder in the Valley of the Sun. When not playing golf, he loved San Diego, and deep sea fishing. After retiring to Sedona he started making beautiful pottery. He loved his four daughters and is survived by Candee O'Connor, Connie K. Casement (Allan), Callie O'Connor and Cindy Milner. He has 11 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Kitty (Keke) O'Connor. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on January 28th at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Prime Hospice.
