Daniel Rodriguez, 88, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico and came to the United States as a young man. He moved to Red Hook, Brooklyn. He worked many jobs to support himself including at a police station, in the ship yards, for housing, and automobile transporter. Daniel was married for many years to Loida Rodriguez. Together they had 4 children: Elizabeth, Danny, Anthony, and Raymond. He also included Rayray as a part of his family. He was a very big baseball fan and was a Met fan for life. He loved latin dancing and was known for being called “Disco Danny” He moved to Arizona two years ago after hurricane Sandy. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife Loida, and grandson Stephen. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 9 pm at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City, Az.
