Frank Trottie

Frank Trottie returned to our Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2016 surrounded by close family and friends. Frank was one of three children born to Will and Ethel Trottie. He was born in Philadelphia and raised by his grandparents Estelle and Joseph Mc Elmurry in Aiken, South Carolina. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from June 1958 to June 1966. Frank was stationed throughout the United States, Korea and Okinawa, where he worked in guided missile field. Frank in 1967 began a 29 year career with Keebler Company as Sanitation Foreman in Philadelphia. He was promoted thru the ranks and retired in 1996 as Director of Labor Relations. He was active in churches in Illinois and Arizona. He joined Palm Vista Baptist church in 2005 and was a Deacon and Elder. He loved the Lord and was dedicated to his church and community. He will be remembered for his kindness, love, thoughtfulness, patience, and gentleness. He is survived by his wife Jackie, daughters Lesha (Nicci) N. Trottie, Felisa Mills and Sheila Pitts, grandson Frank Joseph Trottie and D. J. Mills, granddaughters Brianna and Natasha Pitts, brother Elmore Trottie (Faye), in-laws James and Evelyn Porter, brother-in-law James Porter (Karen) as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held at Palm Vista Baptist Church Surprise, AZ on Sunday, May 15 at 6 p.m.
