JAMES KYNAST

James (jim) Thomas Kynast 83, of Phoenix, AZ went to be with Jesus on February 3, 2013. Jim was born in Phoenix, AZ in 1929, and grew up in Palo Verde, AZ, where he attended Buckeye High School. Jim joned the Navy at the end of WW2, and upon discharge joined the Army, where he served honorably for 9 years, seeing action in Korea and traveling to many different countries. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Louise Kynast (Baker). He is survived by one sister (Ruth), daughter Vicki (Mark) Gensel (Kynast), son Bill (Renee), daughter Lisa (Leonard) Kynast-Pena, daughter Rosemary Masterson (Mercer), 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, Graveside services with full military honors will be February 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Sunland Memoral Park, 15826 Del Web Blvd, Sun City, 85351. Interment is at Regency Mortuary Sun City, AZ (no services to be held at the mortuary). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014, or on live at www.hov.org.
