Joseph Timko

Joseph Lee Timko, passed away Feb. 24, 2016 in Glendale, Arizona. Joe was born in Monongahela, PA. on Jan. 12, 1939. He served in the army for 3 yrs . And was in Korea for a year. Then was transferred to United States Army Reserves for 6 yrs . He was in nuclear weapons and later on worked for the government . Joe always loved football and basketball and He still holds the Pennsylvania record for most points scored in a high school basketball game. He scored 106 points. Later on he went into real estate and has lived in Phoenix for 30 years. He was a very caring man and adored his children and grand-children. He is survived by his wife Marie (Bonnie) whom he only knew one week and they were married on July 4, 1960. His two daughters, Lisa and Stacy, a son Joseph, and 5 grand-children: Amanda, David, Morgan , Zaniel and Alia. Military Graveside Services and Committal will be Friday, March 4, 2016 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Road Phoenix, Arizona 85024 You will be missed joe and god bless you.
